SendMySignal is a community-driven apparel and creative-expression platform built around short wearable messages called Signals. You can shop released Signals, help shape future ideas through Signal Lab™, or design your own Signal. Everything is sold as a preorder and produced in small batches.

A Signal tee is a t-shirt printed with one short wearable message — for example “LOW BATTERY”, “OPEN TO COFFEE” or “NOT AVAILABLE FOR ____”. Some Signals are ready-made phrases you order as they are; others are Fill-in Tees™ you complete with your own words. The same Signals can also appear as patches and stickers.

Pick a released Signal in the shop, complete a Fill-in Tee™ in Design My Signal™, or vote on ideas in Signal Lab™. When you preorder, your order counts toward that Signal's production run, and each Signal page shows how many units have been preordered and how many more are needed to make it real. Once the run is confirmed the Signal goes into production and then ships to you.

A regular graphic tee brand prints artwork and sells stock. SendMySignal starts with something you want to say: Signals are short messages, the community votes on which ideas move forward in Signal Lab™, and each Signal only goes into production once enough people have preordered it. You can also write your own words on a Fill-in Tee™ instead of choosing from a fixed catalogue.

Yes. Design My Signal™ is the Fill-in Tee™ builder: choose one of the approved templates such as “TODAY, I'M ____”, “I NEED ____” or “MY ____ ERA”, type the words that complete the phrase, and the tee preview updates as you type. You then choose your set, tee colour, size and quantity before preordering.

You complete one of the approved Fill-in Tee™ templates with your own short wording, so the fixed part of the phrase stays the same and your words finish it. There is a character limit on the fill-in text so the Signal stays readable on the tee. Keep it your own words — we don't produce hateful content or text that infringes someone else's trademarks or copyright.

Yes. In Design My Signal™ you can Save as Draft at the review step, which stores your template, your words, your set, colour, size and quantity so you can come back and keep editing. Saving a draft is not an order and nothing is charged. When you're ready, open the draft and preorder it.

Signal Lab™ is where Signal ideas are shown to the community before they become products. You can see live vote counts, follow which Signals are close to production, and look back at past winners. It's the part of the site where community input decides what gets made next.

You can vote on the Signals shown in Signal Lab™, and each vote is counted once per Signal so totals stay honest. Vote counts are real numbers from the community — we don't pad them. Ideas with strong support move toward a production run, and you can join the waitlist for Signals whose voting has closed.

Every tee is a preorder rather than stock on a shelf. You choose your options, add the Signal to your bag and pay at checkout as with any normal order, and your units count toward that Signal's production threshold. Each Signal shows its progress — for example “7 preordered · 3 more to make this Signal real” — and once the threshold is reached it goes into production.

Preorders let us make what people actually want instead of guessing and overproducing. Each drop is made in small batches after the preorder window closes, so demand is known before anything is printed. If a Signal doesn't reach its threshold this time, it can be brought back for another run later.

You get an order confirmation right away, and your preorder is added to that Signal's count toward production. When the Signal reaches its threshold it's confirmed for production, and you're emailed as your order enters production and again when it ships with tracking. You can follow your orders in your account order history.

Signals are produced in small batches per run rather than sold as numbered limited editions. A Signal that reaches its threshold is produced and marked Made Real; one that doesn't can be reopened for a later run when enough people ask for it back. So availability follows the run model, not artificial scarcity.

FOUNDING SIGNAL · 2026 marks qualifying orders placed during the founding launch period — it appears on your order confirmation and in your order history. FIRST RUN is a separate marker showing your order was part of the very first production batch of that particular Signal. Both are recognition markers attached to the order, not extra products.

Production typically takes 3–5 weeks after the preorder window closes, depending on the item and demand, and orders ship within 3 business days once production wraps. Delivery then depends on your region: about 3–5 business days in the US, 5–10 to Canada, 7–14 to the UK and EU, and 10–21 for the rest of the world. Every shipment includes tracking.

Preorders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before production starts; once production begins, cancellations are no longer possible. For a size, colour or address change, contact us as early as possible and we'll help if the order hasn't entered production. Unworn, unwashed items can also be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Checkout accepts major credit and debit cards, and payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider over an encrypted connection. We never store your full card details. You'll receive an emailed confirmation for every order.

Sign in and open the Orders section of your account to see your order history, production status and tracking. If something looks wrong, contact us with your order number and we'll look into it — we usually reply within 2 business days.
